Not Making A Claim On Car Insurance
Hi
Looking for a little advice. A few days ago I was rear-ended while stopped at a roundabout, the guy gave me his name registration and phone number, but wants to pay for the damage himself, not through his car insurance. Has anybody had any experience of this? Should I report it to my insurance company?

If you don't you may find that some future claim is refused, since you will have broken the terms of the policy.
In any case, if matey does default, you can then go ahead with a claim on your policy.
