Moss / Algae on my Driveway
4 Answers
Does anyone know an effective way to remove the moss / algae from my tarmac driveway??
I used the pressure washer at the weekend, but once it was wet, I couldn't see where the stuff was.
Now it's dried there are lots of nice tracks where it has gone. To do this again would use lots and lots of water ..... very wasteful
Thanks

After washing the entire area with it, apply a liberal amount of ordinary laundry bleach. This will kill the remaining growth, but expect it to come back in the future, especially when the weather warms. There are commercially available products that do the same job but can be expensive and may kill the lawn that edges the drive... Good luck!
