Stitches After Knee-Joint Op
6 Answers
I am due for a knee-joint replacement op soon,I know the medics are good and I'll be grateful to have it done but I'm worried the skin on my shin area seems very tight against the bone and I'm worried that when they stitch me up after, because of the tightness, the stitches might 'pull-through' can anyone reassure me this will not happen? Does human skin 'stretch' to accomodate for re-settlement ormay they use a type of superglue or dissolveable adhesive strips? I'm grateful for any advice.
