Ok so I down loaded a key logger detector which looks for data that is saved on your hard drive after you oopen notepad and type some stuff. Do any of these sound dodgy:
C:\Documents and Settings\User1\ntuser.dat.LOG was modified.
C:\Documents and Settings\User1\ntuser.dat.LOG was modified.
C:\DOCUME~1\c9185\LOCALS~1\Temp\MessengerCache\eiPd7HJAfuUgB+oKMvHYEg6TXE4= was modified.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\software.LOG was modified.
The word "LOG" at the end of 3 of them indicate that Windows is keeping a log of what is going on (date or time files were updated for example).
The third one is obviously sometihng to do with MSN messenger, and the fact it is in the cache folder indcates it is some sort of system file.
btw It is not clear form your question what you are trying to do, are you trying to catch someone out who is using your computer (your partner perhaps?)
There is a program called SpyBubble from Spyrix that is hard to detect as well.
Anyway, it has its own benefit, a keylogger can be used in a family as it is a great software for parental control, spouse control.
Even it can be used for employee control, to check activities of employees on computer as well. Media URL: http://www.spyrix.com/spybubble.php Description:
