mate of mine wanting guidance over her love life (I know, there are better ways, but try telling her that) asks if anyone can recommend a good psychic in the London area and, if so, please state reason for your recommendation? We both love amazing stories.

Seems to me that a really good psychic would know where to find her? :o/
Marvin Gaye has just had a word and he recommends spiritual Ealing.

(sorry couldn't resist)
I used to have a Dentist in Ealing, back in the 60's bibs....can't remember anything terribly spiritual about it though. He had a wonderful name...he was German and was called Mr Hell !
Whatever happened to Mystic Meg?
something unforeseen happened to her

AB editor, how can I answer the question without knowing what the poster means by 'a good psychic'? I, for one, am not telepathic so is it not reasonable to ask?
There is no such thing as a Good Psychic, mainly because there is no such thing as a Psychic in the first place !
I knew you were going to say that mikey.
May I say that while I understand some of your flippancies you have all obvoiusly never been in a desperate situation and wanted to clutch at straws. If it makes flip's friend feel any better or helps her get through a dark evening then so be it. I don't know the answer for London (or anywhere else) but certainly turned to this years ago when having a really bad time. So what if it's crap?
This lot operate from Selfridges, If that is a recommendation

Be sure you read the 'terms and conditions' though , it says ''Psychic calls are for entertainment only''
Jim360...sorry to be so predictable but being reasonable intelligent and having a reasonable education drives my common sense and rational and I would find it next to impossible to change now !

Prudie....The overriding reason why I disapprove of all this drivel about Mediums and Psychics is that it gives the kind of people you have described false hope. If these people are really desperate, then perhaps they should look to their local priest. I am an atheist but at least the priests first consideration won't be "how much money can I make out of this upset and deluded person"

These psychics and mediums are all charlatans, and prey on the uneducated and vulnerable. Do you know how they work ? A famous one from years ago was Doris Stokes :::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Stokes

She was found out, especially after her death but not before she made a good living out of conning people. As well as routinely planting people in the audience, she would scan the local newspapers Deaths columns, and pick out recent funerals announcements, and then say something like " is there anybody here who has lost a loved one recently ? "

If flinflap really values the friendship of this mate, and wants to help her, perhaps she should take her to one side and gently explain the reality of wasting her money with this errant nonsense.

She says that they both love amazing stories...well, try this one....its all made up !

I don't want to upset the AB Sisters but this is genuine question....why are the vast majority of the audiences at these Medium Shows women ?
I expect that's a legal obligation though Eddie, the State forcing believers to mock their genuinely held beliefs.
EDDIE51...just had a look at your link...more drivel, this time from a shop that should know better. What next...palm readings alongside the carrots in Tesco ?

A fool and his/her money are soon parted it would seem.
