Been really missing the care work, so I sent out a few CV's and had my first interview today and landed the job doing 4 shifts a week in a really nice care home. That still gives me plenty of time with the good lady Carakeel and with our animals and helping with the therapy side of things, and of course will ease the depleting funds while the business is in its infancy.
Brilliant, ratter. Well done x I saw the title in latest posts and guessed it would be you. I left elderly care briefly to do nursing, but missed them so much i went back, too. Hope you enjoy it:-)
Pleased for you RATTER15 ..and its a nice time of year to be starting a new job. I really admire people who can do this work and enjoy it. Best wishes.
Well done ratter, my 19 year old granddaughter has just landed her first job in a Sheffield care home. She loves it and is well suited for that type of work as she is a very caring and loving person.
whistonian, It is a great career if you like the work, very challenging at times and lots of unpaid work doing courses, NVQ's etc. but it is worth it, Good luck to her.
