18 month Three Phone Contract

Hi all,

I have an 18 month 3 phone contract (practically speaking, my mum is using the phone as Im out of the UK). I've had the contract for 6 months or so now. How long is it before you can reduce it to the minimum tariff. I'm not using it and my mum barely uses it so it seems pointless to stick to the current tariff...
