When using one fo the comparison sites regarding getting the best price for gas and electricity, do they include dual fuel cashback?
I am asking because I am with First Utility and at the end of every year they send me a cheque equivalent to 10% of all the gas and elec I have used during that year.
None of the comparison sites make mention of this.
Am I to assume that they include this payment back to me when calculating which company is the cheapest?

The 10% cash back is not mentioned on First Utility's website either, but yes, comparison sites do include dual fuel.
Le Chat's asking if they all do cash-back, though - I have no idea.
Wouldn't have thought any give any Cashback, never happened in my experience, and I have had some large Bills in the past.I wonder if First Utility are the only ones,I would check first before switching.

I meant loyalty reward...have just looked it up.
With First Utility you get 7.5% of the total gas & elec used, back at the end of every year, starting after the second year.
So this year I will receive a cheque for about £105.00.
I would imagine that comparison sites do NOT factor this in to their calculations but I don't know that for sure.
