Its odd that its only the one show that it does this on, however, it could be that just some sectors of the disk are corrupted and it happens to be where the disk is storing these episodes.
Maybe try clearing your sky+ completely and then try recording the show so that it only has the one episode of Stargate on to see if it still happens.

Thats a bit weird. I would have said it was a signal fault to the 2nd input from your dish, maybe try swapping the cables round and see if it makes a difference.....you should get freezing live tv and perfect recordings. Then you know its maybe the 2nd cable or the LNB thats at fault. Although, I cant understand why it records the repeat perfectly
i've been having loads of problems with my sky+ recently. Its only recording half of programmes and missing starts and ends. Most programmes i tape say 'part rec' or 'failed' and says there was a power cut when there wasn't. Plus the live pause function plays up all the time. I phone sky about this and they said a lot of people were having the same problems, keep an eye on it and in a few weeks if its still the same to phone them back. Its been a few weeks and its still happening but im reluctant to phone up again. They keep you on hold for 10mins before answering (i might start charging sky for my phone bill). Because they cant fix the problem remotely an engineer will have to call out and i'll have to pay a fee for this which i cant afford. Sky are a bunch of chancers. Basically we're paying for a service that we're not getting and then they have the gall to charge you for fixing it. All sky customers should join forces and force them to clean their act up. I can see myself cancelling sky in the near future and getting a freeview box instead. (im not in a good mood this morning)
