Arrange icons by size - Why doesn't this function also apply to folders?

How can i arrange folders by size when exploring my computer?

It is because of the default way in which Windows is set up to arrange everything alphabetically.


To make all your folders arrange them by size by default, open any folder, adjust the arrange options and other settings to your liking, go to tools, folder options, click the view tab and press the apply to all folders button.


That should now mean that all folders on your PC will display using the settings you have chosen for your 'template' folder.
