Internet Explorer Creates Tifs Even When Inprivate Mode??

Hi

I run Internet Explorer under Windows 7 in "InPrivate" mode, which supposedly does not keep any Intrrnet history.

Why then, when I run CCleaner, does it spend ages deleting Temporary Internet Files and Cookies?

I can only guess: but might consider the history to be a different thing than temporary files and cookies. What does "InPrivate" promise ?
