grassy, in Brighton you probably have a better chance of seeing the sea than in ... anywhere near Heathrow.

Move here. It's jolly. And you can see the sea.

too late!
You're lucky to be able to look out to sea from your kitchen window, JJ - I well remember my lovely view of the sea from my place in Woodingdean :-(
...and I couldn't afford to move back to Brighton now, JJ - when I sold my flat in Brighton, I got more than the price of a 4-storey house over here for it. I'd love to come back.
Where are you boxy ?
Hi JJ.....If I had a sea view.....where starlings murmurated I would never cook..☺
Dover, minty - I could see the sea if the people over the road would kindly knock down their house :-)

murmurated ... murmurated ... hang on ... (Googles) ...

Oh right, that's like when they all fly in a big crowd, and then crap all over the West Pier (where they probably all live).

Well, the no cooking bit ... that's me!!

My kitchen work surfaces are used for coffee, and sex. And cereal, sometimes.

What was that starlings word again? Oh, yes, murmurating.
Jj....too too much information ! Lol
I do hope you disinfect. Mind you, might be useful if your making tempura batter.

Yeah, sorry ... bit TMI
It saves time JJ when you say, "Tea, coffee or me"
Question Author
Would you ever say that, carp?

I mean ... it's a risky strategy.

Tea, coffee, or me?

Coffee, please.

What???????
No. I never said it - I only heard about it. I think it is said by daring young ladies in flats by the sea when they are visited by continental lotharios.
Question Author
Oh, right.

I'm sure that particular scenario never, err, actually, err ...
