Really good fun - buzzy and friendly and generally a nice place to be.

I now know which bike I want to have a decent test ride on - interestingly it's neither of the two original suspects I went specifically to kick the tyres of, both of which were chronically uncomfortable for someone of my height/size/whatever.

So, if the test ride is good, ... please Santa can I have a Kawasaki Z1000SX tourer ...

PS - even in 2014 the Bike business doesn't quite 'get' the fact that women ride bikes too - it must be the only surviving business to employ "dolly birds in tiny bikini tops" to encourage the punters - I thought you couldn't do that these days - I didn't know where to look ....

I always wanted a Norton Dominator, never got one!

The care home where I'm about to start work was the family home of the Norton family, originally a nine bedroomed house.
That old house sounds interesting, RATTER. When do you start your new job ?.
Not sure yet Tony, still waiting for CRB and references to go through.
Right, how long do these CRB checks take to go through ?.

Zacs - I don't like the BMWs I can afford, and I can't afford the ones I like :+)
My first CRB took four months my last CRB took 10 days, now that I am in the system they tend to be a bit quicker I think.
Fingers crossed that it's a quicky then, RATTER.
