Crisps Price Per Gram On Display

Got myself in a tangle-doh ! some maths whizz please help!
Sainsbury's 12x25g crisps £3.10 =£1.03per gram on display
18x25g crisps £4.00 =£1.13per gram on display
Surely the 18x25g should be £0.88per gram as they seem to have worked it other way around for 18 pack?

Sainsbury is 300 grams for £3.10, a fraction over 1p per gram.
or 450 grams at £4.00, 0.9p, fractionally cheaper per gram than the 12 x 25 pack

310p / 300 gms = 1.03p per gram
400p / 450 gms = 0.88p per gram

Thanks so i was right ! - i was puzzled as why ones costing 25.8p per pack were "cheaper" than the ones costing 22.2p per pack
I ignored the incorrect £1.13per gram price and bought them on the per pack price
Right, time to finish them off before my greedy little daughter wolfs them down!

I bought a bag of crisps out of W H Smiths today, cost 65p. It was only a normal size bag. Daylight robbery IMO. I won't do that again.

I don't know who the last 2 answers were aimed at. I will say Aldi do a multi flavour pack 20 bags for £1.99. That's only 10p per bag. Why did I pay 65p, for 1 bag......because I was at the hospital all day and my tum was rumbling.

...and if I was hungry, I wouldn't consider that 25g. of crisps was going to do much to improve matters...however much (or little) they cost!
