At the first level you go into a boxed area which has a sort of frieze where you can see what to look for in that particular direction.. Also there are flat screen type telescopes which you can angle to define for you what you are looking at. And if you want more information about a particular building you can click onto it for a little bit about it. These telescopes are timed - I think its about 3 minutes but if there is no one breathing down your neck you just restart it.
The second level has no info and is just a big glassed in area where you can just wander about and look. There are rails to hold onto - I didn't feel shaky but some people might.
A word of warning - once in I think I'm right in saying you cannot go out ( to the toilets or to get something to eat ) and come in again. Having said that I did not expect it to be such a wonderful experience and it makes an unusual Christmas pressie - tickets valid for one year. Enjoy!
