The Spanish lager is good - and cheap. Talk about taking coal to Newcastle.

San Miguel is excellent and 5.4%. A hell of a lot cheaper too.

It's another EU country, so you can basically take what you like.

Though, if you're flying, expect to pay a fair bit extra in excess baggage if you are going to take a week or more's supply of Export out with you. Whilst you're there, make sure you don't drink the water, eat plenty of good British fry-ups, and don't eat any of that foreign muck.

brachiopods right with the water thingy.boil it thorough,their kettles carry on boiling for three minutes after reaching boiling point and it aint for no reason.quite safe to use thereafter

san miguel is a chemically produced beer and when drank in large volume for a sustained period of time gives you a sore throat....i speak from experience !

my drinking tip ? schnapps...the continent rate their alcohol differently to ours.over here it is a spirit,over there classed as wine so is dirt cheap.

Ah - the Britsh abroad?
How proud i am of my fellow countrymen travelling to exotic countries and sampling the local delicacies and enjoying the native customs.
My advice magz - buy a sun lamp , get down to your local offy and do the good people of Ibiza a favour and stay at home.

gary,altho i agree brits abroad is not one of our finer exports,the local economies would be crippled without us !

you only live once so make sure you do it properly thats what i say ! experience all you can whilst still young,that way you will have no regrets...here endeth the lesson.
