Himself is self appointed Christmas present buyer. He announced today that he was going to start the shopping so he 'could get a head start on it and get it done early'! If it was my responsibility it would all be bought and wrapped by now. I'm not ungrateful that he does it but slightly agog at his reasoning. (This is very early by his standards, it's usually the day before Christmas Eve.)
I'm sorted on my side of the bargain (advent calendar bag of doom, school Christmas dinners booked and paid for, costumes x 3 all done, food shopping booked, school cards done). It makes me feel stressed just watching him.
Then be tankful, sherrard (the h is in the scotch).
I have my overseas and UK parcels and can probably make a lot sick - a 4kg parcel dispatched for £5-80 and it wouldn't have mattered if it was 20kg. The Royal Mail Parcels would have charged £12-39.......
My cards are 90% done, and most of the booze is in.
Phew - I hate it. (So does the Dean of Truro Cathedral....)
Oh bless him, I hate shopping for presents. I'm almost done now except for the wrapping up, just one extra present for my Christmas cake maker. Cards posted, only my neighbours to deliver cards now.
Jezza not sure which courier DTCwordfan used but try Hermes, they’re pretty good and a reasonable price too, I sent my nephew 3 parcels over the last 3 months for less than 1 parcel using parcel force.
