in another post i read someone claim that the koran says that "all non-believers must be killed". any truth to this whatsoever? i need to get around to reading this book at some point as it seems to be the basis of many contentious issues these days.

In the Bible, Deuteronomy 17 also says anyone who worships other gods should be killed.

The Koran and the Bible were not written by God or Allah but by man! How arrogant is that. What man, or woman, would have the audacity to write down what they THINK God or Allah meant or would have said. How can they interpret the word of God? And we are supposed to believe this crap? People are dying in wars because of what somebody thinks that Allah might have meant?
