It's important to be aware of the recommended limits (even though they were chosen completely arbitrarily, without any reference whatsoever to any sort of medical evidence).
However, I have to dash, because I'm meeting some of the girls from my old school house for a pre Christmas lunch in London.
I will stick to the recommended limits, and I will not come home trolleyed.
I will ask for my Dry Martini(s) shaken, not stirred, because then they retain their cloudy look, rather than going totally clear. In fact, what the hey, I'll just go for Dirty Martinis. Up to the recommended limit, obviously.
Be good.

"We conclude that James Bond was unlikely to be able to stir his drinks, even if he would have wanted to, because of likely alcohol-induced tremor."
They obviously don't drink in posh enough bars then - any barperson in the sort of palces JB likes to hang out would do the shaking first in a coctail shaker, the customer is merely required to drink - nothing more.
