He is gorgeous. I can never make my mind up whether he's a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest Cat.

If he were a grey tabby instead of the golden colour he'd be a double for our Max!

Its real ayg.
His 'tipped' (tufty fur) ears make me think Maine Coon but then some forest cats have those too, but their ear tips are usually more rounded, whereas Maines have pointed ear tips :-/

The forest cats usually have tufts of fur between their toes ... at least our Max has

I've just read all these posts. I don't think he's animated (if he is, it's very, very good). I do know that some of 02's are animated. However, whatever he is, he's still gorgeous and I knew you'd all agree with me.

Looks like a maine coon to me, they also have VERY hairy toes :-)
