Had a great idea to hang gold and silver baubles in out little prunus tree which is directly facing the patio doors. Went to Poundland, bought 2 boxes of silver and gold baubles, 16 in each box and some wire hanging hooks - total cost £3.

They look absolutely beautiful gently blowing in the wind with the sun making them shimmer. I have had so many people commenting how pretty they look. I should think they are weatherproof as they are only painted plastic, but do remember to fasten on securely by squeezing the end of the wire hooks together so the wind doesn't blow them off the ends of the branches. Loved the first one so much I have done the same in a standard holly tree at the top of the garden.

I have a holly bush in my front garden and I will be off to Poundland to get some baubles to hang on it, Thank you for the tip. Have a nice day.
Well done Ann. That sounds lovely. At the moment I can't even be bothered to dress the Christmas tree indoors, never mind those in the garden. It does sound a nice idea though.
