Christmas Outings

Do any of you have favourite places to visit at or around Christmas? We go to Norwich (from Yorks) for a few days and always attend the carol service at the wonderful cathedral.

Always fly to Geneva for a day before Christmas. That made sense when I had a home 20 minutes from Nice Airport, but I'm still doing it three years on . All kinds of things are of better quality or just different there, from Christmas decorations to small gifts. And the atmosphere is different, too; it makes a change from London or Cambridge.
