london tube peak times
3 Answers
I thought the peak time on the london underground was 7am-9.30am. But today I was charged peak fare coming home from work, and looking on the TFL website I see peak hours are now 7am to 7pm! I'm gobsmacked!
Can anyone tell me - am I just being slow - or have they only recently changed? Was it one of the changes which came in after christmas? My travel routine has only recently changed so I wouldn't necessarily have noticed... Travel card here I come!!

If you only use buses and tubes, Oyster will cap your daily spend at 50p below the cost of whatever travelcard you needed for the day.
If you use National rail on the travelcard (apart from a few 'joint' lines where Oyster is valid) then yes, the TC is better.
