anyone out there love ready steady cook on bbc2 but hate ainsley harriott?he's constantly poking and prodding all the food,at the end when the contestants try the food he spoon feeds them like babies,and he almost always says"what's he like?".at the start of the show has anyone seen the chefs or players washing their hands?

Well....i like him. I think he brings a vibrance to the show. It's obvious he loves cooking and he cooks from the heart and long may that continue.

Ramsey is a good chef and great to watch on the box but just too non-conformist for the bbc !!!!

It's gone downhill since Fern left! Sometimes i cant really believe the stuff is that nice and have you noticed how whenever they want to squeeze an extra dish on they always do orange slices in some sauce! Its just a bloody orange!

A hundred years ago, the ex Mrs Lee and I appeared on Can't Cook Won't Cook (long story, but made by the same people as RSC)

Ainsley was the host, and he was as charming, funny and genuinely down to earth off-screen as he was on-screen. Kevin Woodford was also there and he was lovely too. I had expected them to be cheffy divas, and was delighted to be proved wrong!

Hasn't this programme been on too long now? A bit like Who Wants to be a Millionaire? They get a bit boring after five years or so.

I was aregular viewer but now can only take Ainsley in very small doses.

Fern was the ideal host. Bring her back :)
