Video Is All Juddery And Sounds Almost 'robotic' ...

this is not a physical problem because it started a while ago, then went ok, again, and it keeps happening now and again - so i update drivers and java etc nd sometimes it goes ok - but it keeps happening so i have no idea if its just random or something i have done.

ive just updated etc and its worse than ever - the picture judders and freezes and the audio sounds like a mad robot buzzing humming and screeching type noises, you can hear vaguely what its supposed to be.... it a little bit like the buzz from the old dial-up noise - but not the 'white noise' type sound

any idea what i can do?

i am on win7 and an asus X54C.

Are you watching the video on You Tube or via a dvd in your dvd drive in the computer? Can you please explain this to be able to help you

it is online videos, youtube and other sites

i watched something last night and it was fine, except for second where i thought it was going to start up again but it didnt

but earlier in the day it had been totally unwatchable, worse than ever

i havent tried a DVD yet, i will try one and see
