For me it used to be singing carols in the village pub on Christmas Day. But sadly this tradition has died away in the last few years after centuries of celebration. Now I enjoy having the neighbours in for snacks and drinks on Christmas Eve. What does it for you?

I have spent most of my adult life working in catering, one way or another. Christmas / New Year has always been long shifts and extra hours.
I miss the days when Christmas started when dad would arrive home on the 23rd or 24th of December with the tree and you would feel excited that something special was happening.
