In the first round of the quiz when a challenger is against the chaser one to one being chased down the board, is there a time limit when either one of them presses an answer button before the other person is required to? Can't seem to find an answer on line. Thank you

Yes, but I don't know what it is.

Yes...I'm not sure how long but once one has answered the other has X amount of seconds to answer.

Both would have to press before a given time .If a choice is not made that question is lost I would have thought

That explains all the comments about "putting him under pressure". I'd always thought there was a fixed amount of time for both players.

There is no time limit before someone presses but after that, just 5 seconds. Don't ever recall the Chaser running out of time, but some contestants do !
