First Year Ever I Don't Feel Like Putting Decs Up.

I had to have my dog put to sleep last week . She was nearly 14yrs and I have no interest in putting Christmas decs up this year.

I am not miserable about Christmas. I love to see them everywhere else but just don't want or need them in my house this year.

Am I being a bahhh humbug?

I do not feel like it either, we had a family row on Monday so Mr will not get the tree out of the loft at the moment, still its a few days away, understand how you feel - missing one year , why not prehaps you could help at an animal shelter or something, they always need dog walkers etc, it could make another dog very happy.

I am still not bothering with decorations but my house is so empty that I have decided to give another furry friend a home.
I said I wouldn't have anymore but I saw a lady with two shih-tzus while I was out shopping and the tears just flowed.
I knew I had to change my mind even though it is still early days losing my little one.
This little one will never replace her or her sister but I will love her and I am sure she will love me too
