Doing Yoga After Getting Surgery?

A friend of mine just got some surgery done, and she asked me when she could start doing yoga again. I told her that she should wait for at least 4 months before continuing her yoga practice. What do you think?

Well, it rather depends on what type of surgery doesn't it.

If she had her tonsils removed I can't imagine it will be too much of an issue. If she had a double leg amputation, she might want to give it a while.
