He has openly discussed tbeing gay in various articles, including the Guardian.

This is never mentioned (why should it be) but is often hinted at, for example Chris Moyles had called Scott one morning to ask him about an interview he was doing later in the day with Will Young, jokingly chris asked "is Will there, go on give him a nudge"
