Sorry Jomlett, I didn't see you there. Thank you for that.
i am pretty sure its St Lukes, have seen quite a lot of concerts there on BBC. One recently was a repeat of Tom Jones doing the blues, with Seasick Steve and various artists, great show,
the stained glass window at the back looks the same.
scroll down a bit, shows a photo, he seems to have been there 2010, which i think is what someone said - it was broadcast 2010.....

thought i knew the place, and yes it was a church

However, 1991 heralded the beginning of a new AIR Studios located in the beautiful Lyndhurst Hall in London. A site of significant architectural and historical interest, Lyndhurst Hall occupies a prominent corner position in the quiet suburb of Hampstead and is classified as a Grade II* listed building. Originally a church and missionary school Lyndhurst Hall was designed in 1880 by the great Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse (designer of the Natural History Museum).
Thank you, it is good to know.
i have been past that building many times, however i didn't realise it was studios,
