Bosch Microwave
9 Answers
Microwave is just 4 years old and has been no trouble until this morning when I wanted to heat some milk in it - power getting through as light and turntable working o.k. just No HEAT whatsoever regardless of settings
I know I'll have to contact Bosch but since I cannot get anyone over festive period just wondered if anyone out there has had a similar situation and was it a big/expensive job to get repaired
I always thought BOSCH was a good dependable brand - my old microwave was well over 20 years old when it packed up
Many thanks for any info - Happy Boxing Day
p.s. guess what I should have had on my Santa list!!

At £350 I'm guessing that this must be some sort of combi unit (microwave plus grill and/or conventional oven)?
Do the other functions work?
If so then (as said before) it may well be the actual magnetron that has gone. But it is also possible that an internal fuse has failed.
If none of the other functions work (except the light and turntable) then I'd be looking to find an internal fuse.
You haven't accidentally set the microwave function to 'defrost' or 'low' - just a thought ...
