Blackberry Mobiles accept all kind of sim cards if your phone is an unlocked one,if not they accept only sim cards under contract.
You can still unlock it with the help of http://www.unbblock.com/blackberry/rs18wp8/ where you need to mention your phone model,network and country your phone is locked to.They provide you with unlock code and free unlocking instructions.
