Right so i got the LG KS360 on Orange for Christmas. Popped the sim card and battery in, ready to get going with the phone. However on the screen it says 'Rejected by Network'. The rest of the phone works, but i can't send/receive any phone calls or texts. Therefore i can't receive the texts from Orange to register the phone and i can't phone the number to activate the sim. I took it back to Argos, got a new one. However, THE SAME THING HAPPENED!!!
Does anyone know why this happens, is it a fault with the phone or with Orange? How can i fix this? I love this phone and really don't want to have to go back to my ancient Motorola Razr...

Ring orange from a house phone/phone box if you have to.
Additional:

I've done some searching on some other forums for you, this seems to be an issue with the LG models more than any other. Do as i said in my original post:

Pay as you go Customer Service No: 07973 100 450
Contract Customer Service No: 07973 100 150

Good Luck

thanks for the advice, but i tried that, and they require an Orange mobile number, but because i can't register the phone and activate the sim, i can't get my number...
Your Orange phone number will be somewhere on the sim card/phone packaging.
