Bbc's New Year Celebrations.

Well looking back at those BBC New Years celebrations of the past, left this years offering very much to be desired.

Now although I once liked Gary Barlow, I think he is now too full of himself, and his New Year show last night was no way to let in the New Year.

And what can be said for the fireworks show? One has got to say impressive, but who on earth chose the background music, it was awful and didn't fit the pyrotechnics display at all.

These of course are my opinions, what are yours?

Watched ft.ted on one of the sky stations .if one of these waste of money firework display led to any good aye but a waste of time .happiness comes from within not on these waste of time activities .By the way happiness to you all during this and every year that follows .

I agree with you about Mr Barlow AOG he seems to pop up everywhere and is not overly talented. He is a bit too smug.

I have to admit that I went to bed early and played games on my Kindle. If we had fireworks my moggies probably slept through them or watched from the windowsill.

Not much to see. I did watch GB even though I've never really liked him, and didn't know many of the songs. I don't want to sound like a grump, so I'll also mention that I watched the tv play Two Doors Down which was mildly amusing, although I can't remember which channel it was on.

Saw Take That concert The Circus on tv today and GB was brilliant then. Very talented, IMO.

The fireworks were very good but whoever chose the music and Susanna Reid to present part of the show(may be she was doing a damage limation exercise after SCD) could do with a dirty great ROCKET up their Hmm Hmm!!
