Can't Remember Author/title Of A Book

I'm temporarily virtualy bed ridden, and am hunting through my mental library trying to find a bok to read. Landed on one, but I can't remember title or author. Thought itmight be Nora Roberts, but if so can't work out which.

The Plot:
Young women invited to write a biography of film star. Arreto stay with FS bringin her son.
Falls for FS's step son (Pau I think).
Is told by FS that she is her daughter. Shock, horror, outrage.
FSgets murered. Our heroine (the young woman) is charged. But is innocent nath.
What is the book? Pae please. It's been driving e crazy for a week now!
