Know that Mic is very ill in hospital. I have just had a call from a funeral director asking if I have a funeral plan. When I heard funeral director I went into melt down and didn't really hear the rest. Turns out he is selling pre paid funerals. I'm sure you can imagine what I was thinking. It's taken me nearly ½ an hour to pull myself together. I realise he is only doing his job but boy he didn't half scare me. All house rules are now broken. B&C is usually between 10 and 11. tonight it is NOW.

Hi Jeza, hope the B&C is working its magic for you, what a horrid thing to happen, I agree they shouldn't cold call from that profession, bad enough when you have to deal with them.

I drank my B&C and went for a lie down. Had a little weep and then a sleep. I am now wide awake. I would again like to thank my cyber friends for their sympathy. I realise the caller did not know my circumstances and wondered if anyone else had received calls about paying up front for what for all of is at some point the inevitable.

I totally understand though, it must have been a real shock to the system.
I just can't believe they would 'tout' for business in this way. It's extremely insensitive. xx
