yes we used to play this game with the central air conditioning when we lived in Sharjah [outside Dubai] "hello I'm home" and he would turn it up, then go for a shower and I would turn it back again, this went on all evening without either one of us ever saying a word, bedtime was the worst here I was in a very hot climate going to bed in a cardigan & bed socks because our bedroom was so cold.

I make sure all the rooms are just right because one of the rooms is sooo cold. The living room is usually like an oven because of the fire but it's burning 'cold' tonight because the wind is whistling down the flipping chimney. Also, only one internal door is ever shut tight so that probably doesn't help the whole temperature situation.
