Hi,

I was chatting to the guy from British Gas who came to fit my Smart Meter and he mentioned a new wallpaper [felt based I think] that was going to become the new 'must have' for insulating your home.

I can't have cavity wall insulation so any small changes I can make would be of interest to me.... but I can't find anything on it [admittedly I haven't looked that hard].

Anyone heard of it?

Holy moly, they're dear!

They are, but they only need to be used on external walls. That said you could still be looking at £100 a room!!!

i guess worth it if it solves a damp problem or saves you massively on heating bills. it needs to be compared to the cost of cavity wall insulation i suppose, although I am not sure if the efficiency is comparable
I would have thought that £100 a room is very reasonable, I assume it lasts for a few years once its up?
