80's fashion!

I need to dress in 80's fashion this saturday for an event we're having at work only I'm not sure what to wear! I was thinking of leggings with a mini skirt over the top but what should I wear on my top half and feet? Going to get the stuff on friday so any suggestions would be great! Thanks

leg warmers, really big, frizzy hair. Yep, what about a blue blazer with HUGE shoulder pads?

Stripey, baggy, off-the shoulder jumper with a wide coloured belt round the middle of the jumper. As for shoes, you could go for stilettos, pixie boots or pumps...and backcomb your hair like crazy and wear huge colourful geometric earrings and big bangles and maybe some chunky beads?

a baggy t shirt with a vest over the top, preferably a net one, but ordinary will do.

And a pair of those stupid 'head bopper' things on springs attached to a hairband.

Don't forget the'Run DMC' Sneakers. (with the tongue out, of course)..... You'll look a proper mess! Just like us older ones did.

Am I the only one here that thinks that the 80's should be wiped from the pages of history? I'm So glad no-one here knows what a state I looked in the 80s!

Think I'm gonna wear leggings with pumps and mini skirt over the top with a stripy, off the sholder tshirt/jumper and on my feet a pair of pumps with leg warmers.
