I recall all too vividly the excruciating embarrassment when the ads for such products were aired when I was a teenager.
To be sat in a friends house with his mum when one would suddenly appear in the ad break was tortuous.
And then they had to go and add phrases like "added security even for your heaviest days"!
Abject horror.
