Old mobile phone recycling

Where can I take old mobile phones for recycling? They are REALLY old and basic and not worth posting to those people who give you money for them. I just don't want to throw them in the bin if someone somewhere can make use of them. The Carphone Warehouse are saying they'd give ten pounds to charity for every mobile you brought in. But I know they must be referring to decent ones. Any ideas anyone?

Tesco recycle i believe
The cash 4 phones type people won't pay you for anything that is too old. I checked out mine and it was worth 0p.
Some charity shops are happy to take them
keep it, it could be worth money in the future!
Give them to the red cross

Thank you very much everyone. There are several off them, I don't want money for them as I don't think they're worth it. I hate throwing things away if I think they're of any use at all to someone. I'll try the Red Cross.
I picked up the envelopes from Tesco and sent them off. I got £2 clubcard points per phone which can be multiplied by three and exchanged for pizza express vouchers :)

Thank you

I gave them all to the Carphone Warehouse in the end because they were happy to accept them in whatever condition they were and however old they were. So now I'm happy I've saved them from landfill.
put them on ebay as a joblot, people are always buying really old phones on there.

I didn't know that Wilkesneil. I'm happy they're going to be recycled anyway.
I do have other old ones I could sell on ebay.
people always buy them as i suppose older phones can't be fixed and some people just prefer the basic older phones to the newer smart phones so will probably buy them to use them as spares or something like that.
