William Boyd, the man charged with updating 007, has described which of Fleming's Bond novels as a turkey and an aberration?

Can't help I'm afraid but he's got a cheek - I read a Boyd Bond book and it was execrable.

Could be The Spy Who Loved Me as the book is written from the viewpoint of a Canadian female and is completely different from all the other Bond books - if my memory serves.....
