I can't eat them, I'm on a diet :-( but I'm not sick of them, I only ate two, all over the holidays.

Being on my own I didn't do Christmas, today I bought 2 box's, at 20p you can't go wrong can you.,

I have always disliked mince pies I find the filling too sickly.

I cannot bear dried fruit of any kind but WHY would you eat peel?

Mic is eating like a horse Grimaldi. There is a lot of hospital food he won't eat (red lentil soup to name one of many) I take in lots of the food he likes to eat, Chicken breast, sardines etc, high protein is what he needs plus treats of course, anything to get his weight back up. He doesn't like mince pies but makes up for it with loads of other goodies.

Good to hear he's eating well. Have a look out for stollen, which may also be heavily discounted after the Christmas/New Year period.

Yes Minty. Not just yet as care plan has to be sorted, plus equipment, plus me getting furniture out to make room and a new floor to be laid. Gawd the list is endless but I can see light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

Tired yes. Elated yes. 4 months ago I thought Mic was going to die. Although he will never be his old self again I am happy to have him come home.
