The closing date is now fast approaching - 17th Jan. So anyone still wanting to send in their sheets would just about still have time to do so.
I will be reviewing Email applications as there are over 50 sent out which havent been returned, and are therefore unpaid. This happened last time too, so I may have to change this system, we'll see.
Many thanks to all those who have participated.
Happy New Year to you all.
I am still collectimng stamps for the Donkey sanctuary, thanks to all who have ent them through.
The next quiz will be out on the 18th, Good Luck with that. Diane

Please do not stop the email alternative for your quizzes. Postage is too much now to send for one having to use 2 stamps to get it and 2 stamps to send the answers back.
You could consider either PayPal or Just Giving. PayPal works for me although I appreciate not everyone likes using this method but then post would have to be the alternative. Money is received up front.
Because of the growing cost of postage I prefer the email system and I always return them with payment .I don't use pay pal or just giving ,so if the email stops I won't be doing the quizzes due to the cost.
Another way to maintain emails is to check out who has returned the quizzes with payment and who has not bothered returning them at all. You could keep a blacklist of ones not to email and keep a list of trusted quizzers. A bit more work for you but you would soon know the ones you can trust.
All good points made here.
Paying £1.50/£2 to give £1 isn't cost effective for the entrant. I won't use PayPal either, but the email black list is particularly a good idea, and I don't think it's too difficult to run.
Please keep on with the email, which in itself saves you money because you're not printing out copies of quizzes unnecessarily.

I appreciate all your coments, which I shall take on board and I would like to carry on with the email syatem if possible. But as there are so many non returns, it just makes me rethink. As for the comment about unnecessary printing, it doesnt really work like that as I only print copies for those who pay. Also the postage costs try to keep down by suggesting those who want the next quiz send in their money with the completed sheet so it does save on postage I think it only works out at one stamp per entry but I cant be sure!!! Of course blacklisting is an answer but I'm not sure its the same people every time. Oh well, onwards and upwards as they say.....
