About 15 years ago we bought a 50 ltrs Brabantia bin to use as a washing basket.

About 6 years ago the spring on the lid gave up the ghost.

Thought I'd contact Brabantia to see if they would supply a new spring.

Imagine my surprise when a new lid arrived today, free of charge.

Now that's what I call customer service. Thank you Brabantia.

The catch went on my Brabantia bin twice (mine is older than yours) and I have had two new lids - fabulous customer service.
It's great when you get service like this.

My daughter broke a plate out of her dolls tea set from Emma Bridgewater. I called them to see if I could buy a replacement and they sent me one free of charge.

Aren't those good to hear? - makes such a change!
God BT I thought you were gonna say,

that is usually whathappens to me - I unerringly shoose the dogs and invest.

Sister got a new lid as well, hers was pretty old as well, they have good customer service, dyson have also been excellent,
Where do I get in touch with them - we have an old shoe holding down the lid of our 50ltr Brabantia bin (someone in the household threw and tanty and broke it....) I've been wondering how to get in touch with them to find out if they had replacements (prepared to buy a new lid)

We used to have to weigh the lid of ours down with a multi-pack of beans but used to slide of periodically.
Excellent info! I bought a new brabantia last year. About two months after we got it, it mysteriously broke (although Master BM did come into the living room and say "the bin getting broke was nothing to do with me"). Hmmmmm.
We love ours how sad is that but good to know their after sales service is that good, thanks
