Trouble With Dvd Recorder When Trying To Record. Can Anybody Help Please?

The weirdest thing has happened for the last two nights and I'm hoping somebody can help. I have a Samsung TV and a Panasonic DVD Recorder Model No:DMR-EX89EB.
ITV1, Ch4 and Ch5 have disappeared from the list of channels on my DVD Recorder so I cannot record any programme on those channels. And Plus 1 has disappeared as well on ITV1 and Ch4 but not on Ch5. They all show up on my TV list of channels though. Any idea what is going on? I would be so grateful for any help. Thanks.

I would manually retune the DVD player and see how it goes from there.

Thanks for your help SJ but I have managed to sort it. I googled it and it is a known problem. You just have to turn your recorder off at the mains for a few minutes and it sort itself out. Amazing. But thank you anyway.
