Lexmark Z1420 Printer

For some reason it has stopped printing.

The ink levels look okay but when I ask it to print something it goes through the motions, as if printing, but nothing prints.

Help!

Try different cartridges - printers can get confused and think they have enough ink whne they don't.

Try a tissue/toilet roll on the printhead bit of the cartridge - if you don't get ink either the catridge is empty or blocked.

As Tuvok suggests, the print head of the cartridge could be dried up or blocked. If it is blocked, stand the cartridge with the print head in a saucer of hot (not boiling!) water and leave to cool. When cool, try dabbing the print head with a paper tissue to see if any ink is visble.
If the ink does start to appear repeat the above hot water treatment until print head printing OK.
