Scottish Cheeses

I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that Scottish cheese is the culinary equivalent of rocking horse dung.

Having visited a number of delis, farm shops and supermarkets all I have come up with so far is some decidedly average cheddar.

I know full well that there are some fantastic Scottish cheeses but they are being kept firmly North of the Border!

Even more annoyingly I rang a producer this morning to make place an order and they can't guarantee that I'll get my order before Saturday!

Today will be spent searching the web as so far I've been disappointed with the offerings from the Usual Suspects in cheese mongering!
