My vacuum cleaner has just conked out it was a Karcher which was bagless and light but I would be grateful for recommendations for a lightweight cleaner reasonably priced do you think bagged ones are easier cleaned, not too much carpet to be vacuumed.

I have a Hetty and I really like it. Previously I had a Dyson upright, it was alright but too bulky and heavy and the hose was pretty crap.
I've just bought a GTech Air, although I do have a 'big' vacuum as well. Really light, picks up well and the one I got was a good price. They can be expensive tho'.
When it comes to vacuums there is only one make that always shines and that is Miele.
....not true. Miele, Bosch, Sebo and Dyson...all recommended by Which?
Bought a Miele Cat and Dog cylinder 6 months ago , really pleased with it. Bags are expensive but cheaper on Amazon. In the past have had Dyson,Samsung and Electrolux.
Miele for me.
Have Dyson upright and Henry for stairs.
Miele....☺
See...? I said one make that always shines! Not that it was the only one reccommended by which.
